I had a similar situation. I got 2/5 patterns. 90% of my engrams end up being swords and suddenly I get my remaining 3 patterns after opening 5 engrams

This is how I felt when I loaded up just a taniks checkpoint and got 2 red boarder commemorations plus my weekly red boarder focused one

1 single taniks kill got me a crafted commemoration

I had the exact same experience with the strand auto rifle… I swear, there’s something programmed in that makes it so that you get multiple red borders in quick succession

Fr bro I’ve turned in a couple hundred engrams and still don’t have the pattern for throne cleaver it sucks, not even gonna bother trying to get the other 2 swords, takes way too much time

not gonna lie, this same thing happened to me earlier in the season with the same gun. decrypted about 20 engrams but I got 4 red border imperial decrees back to back doing those. weird

It’s so easy to farm that shotgun, I got it pretty quick. Just save literally 100 or so of those engrams, you get them so easily LOL

Dude this happened to me too!! A couple days ago it just kept giving me Imperial Decree over and over. And over. Only one deepsight though lol. I finally gave up and just focused seasonal gear 😂

IF only the swords would drop like that. Seriously bungie change the balance on this EVERYONE has the shotgun craftable already. I spent 40 engrams the other day and got 1 sword.
