What me and most people are finding weird isn't the fact that she isn't having any public appearances (because she could very well be recovering), but the fact that they keep pretende that the photos are new. All they had to do was explain that that mother's day picture is not recent because she is still recovering and not in a state where she is comfortable to be in front a camera posing for pictures. That's all. But no, they decided to photoshop it to make it look like it is a new photo. Same for the photo in the car, they didn't jave to post it.

What they should've said to begin with is:
"The Princess of Wales is still recovering from sugery and we would appreciate giving her ample privacy during this time, but rest assured she is making great progress, and because we care considerbaly for her wellbeing we don't want to put pressure on her to rush back into the public eye, thank you for your patience, all of your kindness and well wishes."

And no fake photos whatsoever!!

For everyone saying you can’t photoshop lighting and colors:

As someone who’s a graphic designer and has repaired and altered old photos - in addition to being certified in photoshop: it’s absolutely possible to change lighting and recolor or objects convincingly in photoshop. There are tools specifically for lighting engines and you can hand paint brights and shadows. I’m thinking multiple editors have to have worked on these photos because the skill needed to alter her face is beyond the mistakes of the clothing

UPDATE(from a video she posted) she went to get an abdominal surgery on a few places the doctors thought were non cancerous.. and it turns out they were cancerous. She has to go through chemotherapy…. Idk y they didn’t just say she was in the midst of battling stomach cancer and needed space and privacy. Like you would’ve made yourself look like the loving family you pretend to be, and you would receive support from people. Instead of entire world thinking she had to have surgery for a severe ED or her husband beat her into a coma.

I honestly believe that Kate’s surgery was just more serious than they let on and instead of being transparent they’ve taken the approach of just making things a lot worse. Like either you ignore the rumors or you tell the truth. This is exactly why the RF under Elizabeth II had the policy of ignoring media speculation and rumors.

This is not happening due to the surgery. I’m nearly convinced Catherine either had a horrible post op infection-nosocomial/hospital acquired. The hospital she was in has a very high rate of these infections. Another strong possibility is also a potential complication to surgery-stroke. If she did have a stroke four months is about long enough to assess the permanent damage. When I worked on the med/surg unit and had a 94 year old above the knee amputee who was in for about ten days total.

With that said, we’ll know more at Easter I guess! Idc about the royal family either, but I do care about the women who marry into it. I hope she’s okay

The woman had major abdominal surgery and the RF said she would be back after Easter. Her "fans" aren't entitled to her health status, let the woman recover in peace and get a life (not you but to the people getting way to invested and saying she's dead and the RF is covering it up)

You forgot the strange death of Kate and William's friend Thomas Kingston, and the fact that his death wasn't announced until 2 days later, and his wife's parents attended the memorial service knowing that their son in law had been killed by a gunshot wound to the head. Weird.

This would make no sense to do if she was dead, because they'd eventually have to admit she's not coming back. There would be no reason to fake sightings of her if she's really there and recovering. I think she's gone and they either don't know where she is or can't get her back. They probably said Easter to buy time to recover her. Was she abducted? Did she run away? It's really weird.
