The foul was clear as it gets. The ref was literally about 3 feet away had perfect view and did not blow whistle.

From an officiating standpoint….The lead official on the baseline is looking right at it and it looks to me like he stayed with the shooter and defender all the way through the process and called nothing. The trail official has a great open look and called nothing. An open look is where your view is one where you are looking right between the two players. And I’ll add this. If there is ever a play like this and the official himself is in the same position that the coach is in it’s what is called a closed look or stacked position. And it’s the single worst position that an official can be in when there is a contested shot. And this is exactly the position the coach is in. Her view is closed. And then if you watch she is watching the flight of the ball as the shooter and defender are returning to the floor. Maybe she peeked late and saw something that was a foul but it’s for sure that if an official would ever have a closed look and then follow the flight of the ball while a shooter and defender are returning to the floor any thing they would call or don’t call would not be credible and they would get severely reprimanded by their supervisor. One last thing. The angle in this film is high and from all the way across the other side of the court. There is no way for any of us to tell ourselves if there was contact by the defender that put the shooter on the floor. And that includes me. So if there was that type of contact then it’s a foul and the refs missed it. But you need a better view than this.

The refs missed that call but they got the technical right. So that’s 50% which is just about average for basketball refs.

She should be pissed! These Refs been terrible calling 1 sided games lately and apparently the same things happens on the men games. They call chicken shit hardly touch fouls but can't call a mugging foul. When these Refs going to get fined for terrible fouls. I see so many fouls called one way and the other team takes the glory and watch the other team get no calls like the Refs turn there heads when a team plays LSU. I see traveling none stop or a walk majority of most games. U touch a person with a finger they ready to blow the whistle.
