LSU Kim Mulkey points out 'Sexism' in L.A. Times story and addresses how her team is viewed

LSU women's basketball coach Kim Mulkey used her time in the Tigers win over UCLA postgame to point out a story in the L.A. Times that she feels is sexist and degrading of the young women on her team.

I read the article and I think it was a good article about her, sharing to the world that she is a tough and hard-fought lady. Most of the people that was negative was trying to stir up the alphabet community to hate her. After reading that, I think she is a great woman and that article was great to bring out the toughness in her. Go Kim.

Only one reason the media is on her case right now and that's because she did not come out guns blazing when Griner was detained in russia. Unlike Staley who uses BB as her platform every chance she gets, Mulkey for the most part stays out of the political arena unless they go after her players like all coaches do. It’s a valid piece. Mulkey is a great coach and a ghoul. And LSU is a rough uni with a recruit and win at all costs MO. This should not shock anyone. The piece didn’t dump on players, it dumped on a program. Fair IMO.

I am happy that Kim teaches her girls the game of basketball and how to speak your peace. This world still can’t handle women in power, and women who speak their minds. The world needs to except that women are going strong so hold on, they do have a mind. Thank you ladies for being yourselves. She is hard yes, but I know she also has a heart for her girls.
