Answer: all forms of energy(matter being energy) (particles being energy) are all conciousness, conciousness, energy, matter, emotions, thoughts, feelings are not local to the body, all the body does is process those energies into a state that the dense energy of the body, in this case the brain, emotions and feelings come from outside they enter into the brain and we say yes or no. The emotions thoughts feelings and energy are all there always have been always will be, it just is determined by which energy you accept and which energy you don't, we used to call this choice, still could but that's dumbing it down.

The title of this video is completely inaccurate -- Greene, like most thinkers, can't even get out of the starting gate describing what consciousness is, much less theorizing where it comes from.

Sensory perception through various modalities generate and experience that because of our language gives us the dialogue that we can consciously be aware of and by the conversion of those stimuli into a means of communication and articulation of those stimuli into experiences that occurs over time and within space into a configuration that generates an ability for us to tap into and deduce our reality.

Particles and smaller objects are just Ideas of the Consciousness that come from us.
Theres nothing outside consciousness, all matter is an idea of consciousness.

I am aware I have a consciousness at a particular moment but no evidence that the consciousness is the same as any previous moment. All previous consciousness or awareness I may have had have gone. The only evidence I will have tomorrow when I awake that I am me is my memories. The moment of consciousness I will have tomorrow when I awake will not be the one I have at this moment.
