A robot mower caught me by surprise

I had just arrived to apply some Emerald Green to her lawn, and this was on the lawn. So I sat and watched it for the last 5 minutes while it finished mowing the front lawn, and then simply took itself off the lawn, down the side of the house and entered the rear garden where it went and parked up.

I do now think there is a place for these, for people who want a little help in the mowing department. Something to mow a few times a week, and perhaps leave the "weekend mowing" to the home owner who can then cut how they like and maybe even stripe it up.

I've got one of these. Replaced a 4 year old boundary wire Worx Landroid. First impressions are it's excellent - going to buy the sweeper attachment next year so it will collect leaves etc.

Clever stuff nowadays Shaun. I’ve got a robot for my pool, it even climbs the walls and scrubs the waterline. We call him Bob ‘cos he is a Robert (robot).

I'd love a mavis, I love mowing the law but with 2 young kids a full time job and the Welsh weather I dont always get to do. It once a week.
