Y’know Sunny and Shadow are VERY similar to each other. They both suffered and have ptsd from the death of their sister figures. Shadow lost his memory from when he crashed into the Earth’s surface and put into a tube in Eggman’s lab. Sunny tried repressing his memories with the help of Omori. Both were able to able to recover those memories with the help of friends, and were able to move on from their trauma in both true endings from their games.
