The expression on Sunny just so perfectly encapsulates where his character is at during 3 days left. He’s disgruntled and uncomfortable with how things are, but is still struggling to get back in touch with reality and resist the hedonistic temptations of headspace.
I think that’s why the next day is the last time you can switch to the Omori route, because that’s when Sunny really committed to trying to salvage his life, even if it has the potential to go horribly wrong. Or alternatively the time in which Sunny determined that it wasn’t worth it to have to suffer in reality and abandoned his friends for last time.

Holy shoot I absolutely adore Sunny angry expression. Most times I've seen him only drawn with a blank expression but here I get to see more of his character. Especially since this was after Aubrey made fun of him for staying indoors and seeing Sunny emotions towards that insult. Also love that you drew Sunny in purple when he was pulling out his knife. Again most people would draw him as omori yet this animation showed how Sunny himself believes he was in headspace. Hence ignoring reality.

I can't tell in words how much I love this animation. The look of late 90's anime is so fitting for Omori, the music works great, and the overall presentation is pure eye candy!

If they do make an anime our best bet is Studio bones.
They've done Mob Psycho 100 and Soul Eater.
Two extremely unique art styles with amazing animation.
