The map is so much better when the building is still standing, it becomes a game of mission impossible and its incredibly immersive, it makes you use teamwork and strategy to figure out how to take the checkpoint because it poses a major threat to your mission, whoever holds it has a major strategic advantage as they have the high ground (no star wars joke intended) and can drop on any point on the map in all directions since its placed at the centre of the map and you have a vantage point to look out for any oncoming attempted intrusions, land helicopters to use when you need to and only one way up from the ground if you dont have an aerial vehicle so the lifts can be gaurded making it nearly impossible to sneak up there without someone seeing you and the enemy team killing you before you get a chance to make your way 2 steps onto the floor. Thats what made it so fun, just how incredibly difficult yet rewarding taking that checkpoint was requiring teamwork and a plan. Then they bring the fcker down and it loses any strategic value it once held becoming a boring ol checkpoint that provides no use to you

Back then on the PS3 the map was unplayable after the tower collapsed. You only ever had 3-4 FPS.. 😂

Tbf I prefer Shanghai when the tower is destroyed. The infantry battles at C are way better
