From the idyllic mountains of Uttarakhand, also known as ‘Land of the Gods’, comes a story of its people, by its people, and for its people. After years of losing their sons and daughters to migration and the allure of the big city, the mountains call to their children to return to their homeland.

Uttarakhand has been dealing with the migration problem for years. And while its brightest children have been shining in faraway galaxies, the lack of infrastructure and opportunities hasn’t helped to bring them back home.

While Bollywood routinely flaunts the lovely locales of this ‘Devbhumi’, Uttarakhand has never gotten the exposure or attention that it deserves, with a fledgling film industry barely managing to make movies. And thus, it was our vision to create a feature film experience for the Uttarakhandi people that they could call their own. A film that would tell the story of the mountains and beckon its lost children back home.
