Focusing on the daughters of Uttarakhand whose aspirations soar higher than society's shackles, the second teaser brings out the struggle that every daughter has to go through when she has to make a choice between doing what society tells her and her own dreams.

Maati Pehchaan is an Uttarakhandi feature film that deals with the complex issues of identity, community, language, and love in a small village of Uttarakhand. A film that tells the story of the mountains and beckons its lost children back home.
