Here, they use manual machine and sometimes, glass doesn't fit with the frame properly

I just bought a anti blue shield glasses yesterday and i thought they just put a like a sticker of reflective blue light to the frame that i choose that has already a ordinary lense haha. Now i know they really measure the lense before putting it in the frame i choose. Thanks for this vid haha 😂

Instead fancy tracing machine
You can use copier directly. Fit dummy lens in copier put new one and you have new lens in 10 minutes.

In india, they'll all do these with using of their hands and I guess a cutting machine. And also automatic edger machine

For some reason I always assumed it happened the other way round, blank lenses to fit each frame, that get specially machined for each person's prescription.

This makes much more sense though.

The shops charge extra for additional protective layers like UV, antiscratch etc. While you dont aply any any of that, so ho is it? What are we really paying for?
