I don't know where the first clip is from, and I know the options I'm about to list are probably not true in this situation, but I have a few things I want to say as a non-binary person.

1) that person may be genderfluid, and use different names depending on their current gender. I'm also genderfluid, and even though I never change my pronouns and name when my gender changes, I know people who do and I understand the need. It's a weird way to say "my gender rn is x so I'm using x name right now", but it's still a possibility.
2) even if that person isn't genderfluid, they might prefer different names on different days and again, it's fine.
3) that person could just not feel attached to the name given to them at birth and feel more connected to another name. People who are not trans can also legally change their names, my uncle changed his because his given name was too old in his opinion, someone could change it because it was the name of a family member they didn't like, idk.
4) even if it's some woke nonsense that hurts our community, the issue imo isn't what they're doing. It's how people react to it. Why do we care is someone identifies with a certain name? As a certain object or animal? As long as it doesn't hurt them or others, why do we as a society care? Why do you care if someone asks you to call them by a different name, as long as it's not something really offensive?
