Over 100 students and staff arrested during student pro-Palestinian protests in US

Some of the most prestigious universities across the US have become hotbeds for protests over Israel's war with Hamas.

Police have moved to shut down the student protests at campuses. Some senior politicians had called for the National Guard to be brought-in to end the pro-Palestinian rallies.

The United States is Israel's closest ally and top provider of military assistance.

Sky's US correspondent Martha Kelner reports from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
