I have a 250 ranger gx and it burns 7s 5 p+ and it loves to burn 3/16 s all day, on a 10 hr day, it burns 4 to 5 gallons of gas '

I would love to have that welder but I just cannot afford it right now .

Ranger 225’s are Gas guzzlers! I honestly cannot go through an 8 hour day without adding fuel.
I used 2 of them them for 6 months, constantly hit duty cycle causing it to stop welding.
Switched to Miller 325 EFI. I now can go 2 to 2.5 days on a tank of fuel and it welds so much smother than the 225 and 305.
Not sure why Lincoln doesn’t step up the product quality a little.
Some jobs I need 4 engine drives at a time. I’d consider Lincoln if I didn’t consistently have these issues. I’ve been welding for 30 years on almost every brand out there. It comes down to reliability and fuel cost for me. Please let me know if something better comes out. I need to purchase 2 more engine drives.
