For 42 folds, one must take a paper with gigantic surface area as with each fold the height increases exponentially but the surface area decreases exponentially. So theoretically it can be folded 42 times but practically it is impossible.

This is the entropy point of expectation meets reality.

At first I thought "the math isn't mathing." Then I realized I'm stupid and changed my mind.

I forgot that when you folded it, you doubled the thickness. Although that is obvious, I failed to make the connection that it would move like this, first fold thickness of 2 papers; second fold, thickness of 4 papers; third one is 8 and so one. By the twentieth fold, you have the thickness of over 1 million papers.

So how much surface area is needed practically. This would be a great invention if we make a tunnel a passage where we can reach moon.

Hey I have a quick question: what program do you use for your vids?

First it’s 289, 000 miles second it’s four-point or 4000s. The metric system is the least accurate thing devised by man.

10 folds=4 inches
20 folds=4000 inches=0.1 km
30 folds-4 million inches=101 km
40 folds=4 billion inches=101600 km
50 folds=4 trillion km

It requires a paper length of lunar distance to fold 42 correct

This isn’t making sense at all, the way y’all say it makes it sound like the paper gets folded 42 times and then it just flies to the moon. After you fold the paper what happens?

Bro math ok normal papers 0.05mm-0.10mm= 0.874mm 0.874×2⁴²=
