Australian government ‘COVID overreach’ causes stage four cancer diagnosis

Sky News host Chris Kenny says Kellie Finlayson’s cancer diagnosis went undetected for three years due to the Australian government’s “COVID overreach” and how we ignored important health priorities in “obsession” with the pandemic.
“I brought you the tragic story earlier this month of Kellie Finlayson … who faced a stage four cancer diagnosis, what they call a terminal cancer, what made this horror so infuriating is three years ago Kellie noticed symptoms and had a colonoscopy booked but it was cancelled because of COVID restrictions,” Mr Kenny said.
“What quite likely would have been a minor procedure to remove any threat back then, well it went undetected, and it turned into a major life-threatening cancer.
“This is such a tragic demonstration of the huge cost of our COVID overreach, the way we ignored so many other important human and health priorities in our obsession with COVID-19, it’s another reason we need that royal commission into our pandemic response.”
