The story began when an aspiring sorcerer, played by Warwick Davis, is whisked away on a journey to protect an infant empress Elora Danan and vanquish the evil Queen Bavmorda from their world of Andowyne. Now, the story continues with Davis reprising his titular role, as he leads an unlikely crew of heroes on a quest to protect Andowyne from an even larger foe than they had imagined possible. “Willow” also stars Ellie Bamber, Ruby Cruz, Erin Kellyman, Tony Revolori, Amar Chadha-Patel, Dempsey Bryk, and Joanne Whalley. Kathleen Kennedy, Michelle Rejwan, Jonathan Kasdan, Tommy Harper, Wendy Mericle, Roopesh Parekh, Ron Howard, and Samie Kim Falvey serve as executive producers. Writers are John Bickerstaff, Hannah Friedman, and Jonathan Kasdan. The producers are Stephen Woolfenden, Julia Cooperman, Hameed Shaukat, and Max Taylor.

Episode 7 was EXTRAORDINARY, on every level. The training montage was wonderful, and there was lots of character growth. And all the magic and the dreamy scenery. Thank you for this! Hoping for more seasons!

A group of friends are all planning, after the last episode of Season 1, to post our fanfics, links to the clips from LucasFilm, etc. every Wednesday using the hashtag WillowWednesday to try to show Disney how much we all love this show. It's Great characters, a real adventure story, and it's fun instead of being dark & edgy all the time like a lot of other fantasy shows now are. WILLOW is a show with heart and whimsy!

Love the show! It is so easy to watch and hilarious. Each character has shown growth through this quest. Episode 7 was definitely one of my favorite episodes. The magic and fighting montages were amazing and combined that with beautiful visuals.

I think this show had potential to be great. Love the actress they chose to be Elora and how her powers became dormant because she never used them. I love how she had to try and train several times in order to get them back.

Anyways, I believe if they had more adult characters, and more on set locations (as opposed to green screen), this could have been a successful show. I love when Christian Slater came in, it felt like the old school Willow with him in it. He wasn’t in the original, but he fit right in, way better than some of the younger actors. They should have used more of the original score as well.

Even though the show had its obvious flaws, I’m sad that it was taken off Disney+ and it is currently on hold (not canceled).

This is the Willow Ufgood we should have had the whole time. The broken, failed pretend sorcerer arc is a tremendous disservice to the character. Enough with the Jake Skywalker treatment.
