Latvia's population is 1.8Million. To put that in perspective, it would be like fielding a world team with just players that were born in the Montreal area. Getting bronze is a team sport is a massive accomplishment. Congrats to them and I hope they all enjoyed their holiday.

When vegas was created, every analyst and almost every fan thought they would be terrible. As soon as they were competitive every clown said the draft was rigged. Other teams GMs were desperate to keep certain guys and made massive mistakes (like florida) Vegas management took advantage of the situation the draft was absolutely fair.

It will be great for the NHL either way with a brand new Stanley Cup Champion. GM player treament not withstanding, I've been a huge fan of the Golen Knights since they came in to the league. I'm hoping that playrs with like Marchessault and Eichel can turn Bobrovski from a Panthenr into a Kitten. However, I'll tip my cap to Florida if their insane run results in sipping brandy from Lord Stanley.

There’s a lot of wishful thinking with all who are picking Florida… And also, in what world do the Panthers look “unbeatable”? The last game they won by more than 1 goal was game 1 against Toronto and they’ve only put up 4+ goals twice since the start of round 2

No one wants to admit it but Bob has straight up backpacked this team to the finals, they are not winning good team hockey… Tkachuk’s OT goals are impressive but they’re only in overtime because Bob is shutting the door

The only way the Panthers win this series is if Bob continues posting these unsustainable numbers against the Vegas offense which is significantly better than Carolina and shows up in the playoffs unlike Toronto

As a Canucks fan I’m so glad you featured Artūrs Šilovs in this video. Anyone who watched him play knows he’s legit. Although it’s a small sample size, he has already proven he can be a winning goaltender at the NHL level. He’s young and needs more experience, but hopefully he has a long, successful career ahead of him.

It’s important that Vegas and Seattle are good right out of the gate. Look at the Islanders, they became a dynasty in less than a decade. The dynasty developed the fan base and a lot of goodwill. That goodwill enabled them to survive the past 30 years; from fish sticks, the Spano fiasco, Milbury, the Lighthouse debacle, etc, the Isles would have moved were not for the dynasty. Developing a solid fan base by winning, will ensure the Golden Knights and Kraken whether the dark days.

Stop it with the “Vegas draft was rigged” narrative. The whole reason they were such a story was because they got nobodies and a goalie and went on a miraculous run to the final in their inaugural season. Guys who blossomed in Vegas were nothing on their previous teams. People act like they were great before but they weren’t

If San Jose is really thinking about trading their #4 overall pick down, they should be on the phone with St. Louis, who has 3 1st round picks (#10, 25, and 29).
