I like how they trick you into thinking the Mosasaurus hoffmani is going to attack, but it’s actually come to get its teeth and skin cleaned. It’s a bait-and-switch that matches the opening of Cruel Sea in Walking with Dinosaurs.

My favorite thing about this sequence is that we know that modern animals do this kinda thing too, so it only makes sense that prehistoric animals did. It’s not a behavior I see often in paleo-media, so I’m glad we got it here!

I loved it when the mosasaur is Hoffmanni is depicted as a whale lizard rather than some giant crocodile monster with fused fingers and a large appetite and bigger than blue whales
Although mosa had fused fingers with separate bones

This is very plausible, Mosasaurus was a giant lizard, it would’ve had to shed its skin somehow.

Also Mosasaurus fighting each other is confirmed, we have many fossils that show severe injuries inflicted in intro-specific combat, implying these lizards were highly aggressive towards members of their own kind.
