This is by far the best and cheapest home security motion sensor system I have seen yet. It will send you a text message or email any time motion is sensed in front of the sensor! Just plug it in via any micro USB charger and you will know if anyone comes in to your home, driveway or anywhere else you would like to monitor for motion.

No longer do we need to be reliant on systems that cost us hundreds of dollars- just make one (or more) of these motion sensors and you can secure your entire home on a tight budget. i have problems on connecting the esp8266 to the ifttt
could you make a full video on how did you code the esp8266

Found that sometimes the sketch will not load with the PIR sensor hooked up. Disconnect power to the PIR and sketch loads fine. Also this sketch runs well on a NodeMCU platform. Having a ball with this, thanks.

Amazing video. What would need to be changed for no motion detected for 14hours? The GitHub stuff for the IFTTT stuff? Use case is non invasive elder care to make sure they are ok. Which might be a good idea for a future video. Many thanks
