"Detroit Rock City", "Beth" and "Black Diamond" were performed live but unfortunately weren't recorded for official DVD release for unknown to me reasons. You can only find amateur footages in YouTube of these 3 songs.

KISS played in original lineup: Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley and Peter Criss.

I was at this show. The wildest one I've ever attended. When it started, tons of people from the stands jumped the fences and crammed onto the field. Everyone was really fired up.

Man, when Ace is really on, it’s just a thing of beauty. I watched so many documentaries on the band and how he was drunk, drugged, late for shows and a basic pain in the ass. But this concert shows how glaringly obvious it is that he was an incredibly important member of Kiss.

On a personal note, towards the end, the girl I was with said to me, "let's go.". I followed her through the crowd and threw the building and outside when I asked her, "what's wrong??" I thought she had to get home so her babysitter could leave or something. She answered me, "I wanna beat the crowds onto the freeway." I was in shock. I said to her, "but they've got two or three encore songs left!!!" When we reached my car, which was parked in a field with a couple of hundred other cars, we were locked in and couldn't leave as I heard more music being played from the stadium. I never talked to her again

So great to see Peter's drum solo! He goes up and down, fast and slow, fulls around with the Hi-hats, etc. A thing of beauty. All four of them are firing on all cylinders!

I saw them 3 times on this tour. I was too young to see them in the 70s. I never thought I would get this opportunity. The energy at each of those shows was beyond words.

Ace is the only guitarist that KISS has ever had that plays the intro to cold gin right.. others may play the correct notes.. but Aces style is what makes their sound.

I absolutely love the nuances Ace gives his solos and lead parts. I’m not gonna bash Tommy who was probably instructed to play them EXACTLY like the records. He’s a great guitar player. But the difference in Ace’s playing, while simple to others, just changes the dynamic of the songs.
