This songs tears me up every time I hear it. I thought I had known pain in my life, but the day my son died... oooh boy. Nothing prepares you for that loss. After awhile, comes some peace, knowing I'll see my boy again when I "go home" 💜

Craig served in the US Army and served as a Forward Observer. He’s got a great catalog of songs. His song “Paradise” is an ode to his service. Fun fact, when I graduated from the US Army Infantry school in March 2001, our Cadre played “Paradise”.

That was the first time he sang it in front of an audience. As he was leaving the stage he was greeted by a friend and Craig told him he would never sing that song again. His friend told him he had to because so many people need to hear it. I also suggest watching the video, that is powerful because you can see the pain on his face.
