HEY FOR EVERYONE WHO CAN'T FIGURE THIS OUT:
1.MAKE SURE THAT THE SLIME AND HONEY BLOCKS ARE INVERTED FOR THE TWO DIFFERENT (5 long) SIDES OF THE BRIDGE.
THIS IS SO THE HONEY IS UNDER DIFFERENT SIDES OF THE OBSERVERS ON EACH SIDE

Only my second redstone build, it went really well! I only did half of it, cuz I didn't wanna have to dig a moat THAT wide, but it worked out wonderfully!

Heya like your videos. Very concise and it helps me a ton. Gonna give this a like because of the straightforwardness, and really the simplicity of the guide. But man am I disappointed because it apparently doesn't work on bedrock. Hope you would give a disclaimer in the future that it is just for Java edition as I needed to go through the comment section after following the guide only to realize this. Nevertheless. The guide was awesome.

for everyone saying they did it and it isnt working, i had the same problem. You have to make sure the redstone repeaters are facing the right way. that was my problem
