There’s a fierce debate that Generative AI is theft. I agree. It is stealing without permission. But let’s take a moment to explore this idea through the lens of music - an art form based on inspiration.

In music, no note exists in isolation. Elvis drew inspiration from Big Mama Thornton and B.B King. Lady Gaga drew inspiration from Madonna and MJ. Every composer is influenced by the melodies that moved them. Similarly, AI doesn’t magically create—it remixes vast arrays of human input to produce something new and sometimes, unexpected.

The same goes for innovation. Inspiration and remixes are what makes us human. It’s what makes innovation work!
