As a manager I’ve never had an interviewee wait no more than 5 minutes. It’s about professionalism at all times.

I used to work in a similar restaurant chain. They do this all the time. They always say they’re hiring no matter what. The hiring manager was either A. Not there like there were scheduled to be B. They got an unexpected rush and they got pulled away to settle issues C. Forgot all about the interview. I’ve seen every one of these multiple times and I’ve seen applicants sit there for hours the most common reason is they got busy and forgot about them. The turnover is so high at franchise restaurants they basically don’t care about applicants

Listen...love Nightcap BUT I just moved from Ohio to Iowa, I put in SO many apps for jobs I was qualified for and got probably like 5 interviews. A lot of these jobs offered me part time when the posting was for full time. A lot of these jobs shrunk the pay amount by $1-$2 and expected me to take it.

Taco freaking Bell made me wait 45 minutes and said I could start in 3 weeks. I've worked at Walmart in 2 different locations with good time put in and the HR lady for my current location said she wouldn't hire me bc I've worked for the company twice. IT IS HARD OUT HERE FOR THE GROUND FLOOR PEOPLE OCHO!! We need these jobs, we need the money, it's worth the wait if I can pay my bills.

Maybe we just skip over pretending we know what it's like for regular people rn. Love the show, loading up the Manziel episode.
