I was actually pulling for Noah to win the gold but I'm not going to make excuses for him because he didn't. Noah tested positive for Covid Tuesday which means he already had Covid before he was tested. On Sunday, Noah won gold in the Men's 100 meter finals with that epic photo finish ending. He did his usual energetic jumping around before and after the race. No medical issues from asthma or Covid. He also did his usual energetic jumping around on Tuesday when his name was announced at the Men's 200 meter finals. Noah was expected to win gold and when he didn't, he suddenly became a medical emergency. I'm Team USA all the way but I'm not going to support a narrative that didn't exist on Sunday or on Tuesday when he was announced before the race. No excuses! Nothing wrong with hyping yourself up about being the best, but when you do, you definitely have to back it up! On Tuesday, Noah couldn't back it up because Tebogo and Bednarek were just faster than and simple!

Im sorry, even if noah had covid, kishane thompson had hamstring issues after the semi finals and wasnt 100% in the finals of 100meters but no one cared. you come to the line as you are and the best man in that moment wins, dont throw shade on another mans victory.
