Fun fact - in Novosibirsk subway announcer have a female voice. Except when train arrives to second track, then it male voice. That way even if you couldn't hear exact words, you could understand on which track train is coming.

The Tatra KT4 used to operate on the M17 line on the eastern side of Berlin in the past years as a fast connection between trainstations, subway stations and the S-Bahn. I loved to catch a ride on these every morning. Hate that they are gone in Berlin but its good that they start a second career !

My hometown in México also used to have turnstiles at the entrance and exit of the buses. Pretty uncomfortable, but they got rid of them and placed infrared sensors to count passengers

Theese metro consists are so nostalgic to me. I live in Hungary, that was part of the CCCP for a while and metro line 2 and 3 used to have theese metros. They unfortunately got rid of them but its really nice to see them.

I had the pleasure of riding route 13 (and other routes) back in 2017. My guide, Anastasia, called the KTM5's "Red Devils" and we both enjoyed the very bouncing ride. I also rode on the new extension which used the ex-Moscow cars. Wonderful.

I’ve only been to Russia once but it was just in Moscow and St Petersburg. The metro was one of my favorite things there. Even though I haven’t been there in 20 years the announcements in Novosibirsk seemed a lot slower.
