How I Reached 2100 Chess Rating in 2 Years
This video took over 50 hours to edit so any support would be appreciated!

I started learning how to play chess at the end of 2020, and these past few years have been a whirlwind of exhilaration and immense dedication. My love for the game grew with every passing day and I haven't looked back since. I now compete in tournaments every month and started multiple chess institutions to share my love for this game by teaching the youth.
This is my story.

This is really nice. Congrats! Im 31 years old and just picked up chess 3, 5 years ago. Started at a chess club almost a year ago and started competitions as well. Now i have a 1660 OTB rating. It will fall a bit since ive had a really bad tournament this month. But anyways, hoping to hit 1800 in a year or 2. I think in addition to your tips, besides doing puzzles, going to a club and starting classical chess has been the biggest change for me to improve. I improved my online rating from 1300 to 1700 in a year at the club, and got my official rating as well. Also gothamchess has some great courses, really recommend as well.

In my case I took many long breaks accompanied with bad habits playing blitz and bullet but eventually got to 2000 took me 8 years 😂. I hope you keep playing goodluck on your journey ❤.

That’s so damn impressive. Been playing chess for a big portion of my life (2350 FIDE) and never seen anyone pick up chess late and reach that level of play without any private lessons. I believe (idk u, just guessing) you have a lot of talent and you could make something out of this if you wanted to. But that’s obviously up to you, life has so many different interesting things and paths one can take hehe!

Anyway, congratulations and good luck with anything you propose yourself to do 😇

That's honestly mindblowing how you crossed 2100. I have a friend who has been playing chess for 8 years and is still only at 2350 online, 1800ish FIDE (not to say he isn't a great player) but to reach close to that in just 2 years is something you should be very proud of!
I started playing chess late feb this year and suddenly I see a vudeo that a person got 2000 in 2 years motivates me a lot.... I love chess as a hobby and although I don't see myself becoming a chess professional I will still continue playing it....
I am 650 ELO after a month of playing and I have hopes to cross 1500 this year, good luck for your future and I am sure you'll achieve WCM and even WFM. You really motivated me to put in extra effort and I can't stress enough how amazing it is reaching 2000 in just 2 years!

I am around the same level as you and honestly, chess gets a lot harder from this level on if u try to get better.Play chess for fun and do the things you enjoy, don't stress too much over getting a higher rating.I enjoyed your video though, looking forward to more from you🙌🏻
