Good morning Nikki! I have just recently found your channel. I’m 55 years old so I watch several of the channels that are geared towards us more “mature “ gals. I’m so glad that you showed up in my recommended channels but not for the reasons you might think. I saw where someone commented on how you hold your brushes and I was very intrigued. I’ve always held mine in the “normal” way and I have struggled with getting cramps in my fingers. I tried it your way and not only do I have more control of the brush but also I don’t get finger cramps! So thank you for helping in a way I’m sure you never expected. I went with a deeper shade for Mario so that it would show up without me needing to use a lot of product and it’s amazing! I recommend going a shade deeper than your usual so it will give more definition! If I had bought my shade I’d be disappointed but I’m obsessed with the deeper shade!

I actually really like the Mario bronzer serum. It makes you look so tan and glowy! Perfect for summer when you don’t want a lot of makeup. Almost reminds me of the drunk elephant bronzing drops.

Nikki, have you done the Scott Barnes new old concealer hack? He's brought an old Hollywood trick back to life with the aquaphor lip balm on the undereyes before concealer. I want your thoughts/take. I'm trying the MBM softsculpt bronzing and shaping serum. At 68, I think the more shear serum will be better for me.

My question is I'm 54 and let's say I were to start a full kit, from corrector, concealer, primer, setting powder, eyeshadow palette, etec, etc... what would you recommend? I'd love a video like that for mature skin. Kind of a starter kit for someone that has so much but unsure that it's optimal. Thanks for your wonderfully currated content.

Jane Iredale has had a loose powder spf out for ages, it’s great. Especially when you use a hydration spray on top to melt it into the skin, gives a lovely natural finish even on mature skin. Clean beauty every time
