SAMSUNG SERVICE CENTER SAID IT HAD MOTHERBOARD ISSUE, BATTERY ISSUE AND NETWORK ISSUE SO CANT BE FIXED AND IT WILL BE COSTLY

LOCAL STORE 1 SAID IT IS OLD DEVICE AND CANT BE FIXED

LOCAL STORE 2 SAID IT CAN BE FIXED BUT THERE IS POSSIBILITY THAT PHONE GETS DEAD AND HE SAID 1200 IS CHARGE

SO I WAS TAKING BACKUP BEFORE GOING TO LOCAL STORE 2 AND I CAME ACROSS YOUR VIDE TO RESET IT AS I WASNT ABLE TO DO IT MANUALLY BECAUSE MY PHNE HAS NETWORK ISSUE IT COULDNT CONNECT TO INTERNET

Does the phone have to be off before you enter download mode? Or better yet, how do I enter download mode because I pressed both volume buttons and inserted the cable when the phone was off but it didn't activate download mode.
