Food Forest Garden Tour, Permaculture In a Suburban Neighborhood

I got some winter carrots too. Not many, but I do have some. My variety is Parisienne.

I'm curious how you would go about turning a forest of hickory, oak and cedar into a food forest. The cool part is there is so much leaf litter, no need to lay down mulch.

Hi James! When did you plant your carrots? I'm in GA and have been debating trying to grow them indoors this winter. Looking forward to seeing what you're doing in the greenhouse. Have you looked at getting citrus trees? My Satsuma Oswari (little Cuties, lol) ended up with 30 oranges on it this year and it's only 5' tall. They're super sweet and juicy and for the most part seedless. They're grafted trees, but I'm thinking of trying to grow a couple from seed. I've started a few tangerines from seed and they're about 2-3" tall so far. Thanks for the informative videos...
