The Westfield "watcher" is back at it.
Three years after a stalker's creepy letters forced a Westfield NJ couple to abandon their $1.3 million home, another frightening letter has landed in their mailbox.
"I keep an eye out, I'm telling you," said Rich Mruczinski, a sanitation worker picking up garbage from the home told Brian. "This is sick. Someone is sick in the head."
In 2014, an anonymous stalker sent a pair of bone-chilling letters to the owners of the home, the Broadus family. The writer, who called himself the "watcher" asked the couple who had young children if they were bringing "young blood" in the house and vowed he would be watching them.
The Broaduses canceled plans to move in and sued the previous owners, who had also received a letter but never said anything when they put the house up for sale. The lawsuit is pending.
This one, is even more sinister, according to a legal brief filed by the Broadus' attorney as part of the lawsuit. And it has reopened a mystery that continues to baffle -- and freak out -- this sleepy suburban town.
