Not me but my dad. He had this math teacher who was known for being strict. He gave them once a single but complicated math problem as homework and they had to show their work. It was either you got a point or none. The day after they turned it in my dad got his had was given 1/2 a point. The teacher than proceeded to say “everyone either got a pass or didn’t, except (my dad), who did the problem wrong but got the correct answer regardless and made me spend four hours trying to figure out what the hell he did.”

In my freshman year of high school my teacher gave us a quiz. When we were done with our quizzes, we were also supposed to take someone else's quiz and grade said quiz as the teacher went over the answers. One of the questions was, "What was used to decipher the hieroglyphics?", and the quiz I got had the answer, "Google Translate".

In middle school our literature teacher told us about how one year when she taught a Christmas Carol she had the The question on the test of how did old Marley leave Scrooge’s place. The answer is that he flew out the window amongst other damned ghosts. But she said someone answered “ he disappeared in a flaming snowball.” The kicker; about seven other students had the same answer revealing they were all sharing answers.

This was a few years ago and I accidentally took a university based class (they marked it as open) and I was completely overwhelmed, I told that teacher I was dropping the class soon and in the meanwhile I had to take a test before everything was done and I could officially drop the class. I had no idea what I was doing so I made whole bunch and funny answers such as; "How is sedimentary rock formed?" "They use the magical powers of science." And "What are the melting points of *blank*" "Hella." The teacher got back to me and said "These are some of the most creative answers I have ever marked, I was very entertained when I was marking this."

My brother is a supply teacher and was filling in for the actual teacher. The students had to do an assignment on exploring 3 careers (This class is called Civics and Careers and is needed to pass high school here in Canada). One kid put criminal and my brother wrote ‘Gave me a laugh, but not a career.’ He gave the kid a 50 and the kid was pissed.

2:27 I mean, he’s not wrong. Can’t get more accurate. I really hope I get an assignment like this that includes the option of doing the POV of a pet.
“Woof Woof Woof Woof Bark Woof Bark Bark Woof…”
“Meow Meow Meow Meow Meow Meow Meow…”
“Chirp Chirp Chirp Chirp Chirp Chirp…”

One day we had a question about 4 ways to produce less carbon dioxide and for some reason my answer "We can stop breathing" was considered incorrect... I was in middle school and run out of concepts.

I try to block all memories from the short time I was a teacher... However, in grade school on a test it asked for words that used the prefix "mono." Being the dumb kid I was I thought "mono e mono (mispelleing of mano a mano) and just "mono" (as in infectious mononucleosis) were correct answers... they weren't.

I'm not a teacher but one time on a quiz (not a test) in my sr HS economics class last year, there was a question about the name for something, I can't remember what it was but it was something that everyone kinda should do, like saving or trying to avoid debt or whatever. I couldn't remember the term so I just put "common sense" lol
