It seems a rumored release date for the Disney+ series Andor is making the rounds. Set before the events of Rogue One, this 12-episode spy thriller will focus on the darker Intelligence operations of the Rebel Alliance during the galactic civil war. Diego Luna will be reprising his role of the title character Cassian Andor, and it is reported that other Rogue One stars will be appearing, as well. And now Bespin Bulletin has tweeted it’s possible the release date has moved up to August. This is ahead of the anticipated fourth-quarter release, fueling speculation on all the Star Wars shows in various states of production. The Bad Batch Season 2 may release following the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. And with The Mandalorian preparing to wrap up production on Season 3, Andor could be a direct lead-in for it this December. Given that we are still 5 months from an August release date it is interesting to note Andor is scheduled to begin production on season 2 this coming Fall. With so much talent attached to this show I’m really excited for this one.
