The most common cause of Anhedonia isn't actually schizophrenia. Depression is the actual most common cause, and schizophrenia (or any schizophrenia spectrum disorders to be exact) is the second most common.

I actually just had to do a genetics test for my nephrologist (kidney doc) and found the markers for the Mediterranean fever. Didn't even know it existed until the test. I haven't watched house in years but I've been watching a bunch of clips lately and found he talked about a bunch of the rare disorders I have like POTS. Sometimes I feel like I'm collecting rare disorders like Pokémon cards but I guess it would be better for me to say like a season of house. Lol.

Why does anyone doubt House at this point? Dude can diagnose someone with minimal symptoms, and is right all the time. It’s just pure incompetence by his peers to even question his diagnosis.

The amount of anti depressent these days is nuts. Friend used to dispense about 50 a day, now it is 300. You can literally say my football team lost last week and they will put you on them.
The type and the side effects vary and are no joke. Also they typically take 3 months to work. Footy season will be over by then.

Real depression, clinical, is no joke though either. Just don't mistake melincholiar (sp?) for depression. More importantly, if you may benefit by one you need therapy or something, just taking a pill wont work. If they just say take this and go home.
No. It is serious and unfortunately the answer isnt in a bottle. That is a crutch to help you. You still need to do some work. Start by finding someone you are comfortable talking with. If you don't click, try again. It is ok. ❤ .
I know this is long but i have cancer, no tongue and a baby about to turn 1. I have reasons to be upset. No one has chucked me on antidepressants. But i talk with people. Maybe I do, we are all individuals not labels.
