Kuss’s performance today reminded me of him pulling Jonas on Hautacam, Sepp is such a beast

What a tour this has been. And it's only Stage 5. Fireworks since day 1 and no less epic today.

Imagine trying to stay on the wheel while Van Aert pulls, then Kuss pulls, then Jonas goes full gas! That’s a sick train and they executed that so well.

Again, fantastic production and top notch analysis in just 8 minutes Patrick and LR team! You guys must be running in overdrive these days with the pod, the watch-a-long and everything. All of it is highly appreciated - thoroughly enjoying it these weeks. All the best and cheers from Benji’s northern neighbour (Amsterdam).

Buchmann said on german tele that he and Jay ended up in the break more or less by accident.
Finally a great stage after the two snoozers, absolutely exciting stuff
great recap as always, keep it up

Not Pogacar went slow today, Vingegaard went very fast.

How good is this TdF so far?!?!? Kudos to Jai for rolling the dice and taking the dub! Jonas putting the sword into Poggy, and only stage 5 😯

You guys don't appreciate Sepp. This guy is a fucking machine

For anyone saying Pogacar wasn't at his best or was hampered by wrist injury. He just rode Marrie Blonque 55 seconds faster than he & Roglic did in 2020.

It's just that Vingegaard went 92 seconds faster than the previous best time. Vingegaard just is THAT GUY right now. Super level!

General profile of the tour so far has made it much more entertaining than a regular start latest decades with flat stages first week. I hope they do this in future tours as well, keep it interesting all the way. Also, unexpected move from Vingegaard and teams with more dynamics at play, so many x-factor riders. Great first stages.

Really excited about Hindley. I said before the tour started I hope there's someone to give Jonas and Pogi some competition, just to make it extra interesting. I don't know how long he can sustain this but people seem to think he's strong, so I'm looking forward to the next stages. Also this stage was absolutely phenomenal, I was glued to my screen from 130km left to the end!

Jonas is a monster, and I have no idea how Pog is gonna close this gap in the next two weeks. This was a mountain that should have suited Pog, but Jonas just nailed him, and then he even took time on him on the descent, insane

sepp kuss is a fucking monster, when jumbo eventually lose him they will struggle.

Great work mate... Maybe one suggestion, on stages like these where a lot happens try to make the videos a little longer, talking a littler slower. At times I have trouble keeping up with you and I watched the stage! Still 10x better than anything GCN touches! Cheers

As a Slovenian cycling fan I do hope that Pog will recover in some way or another and really have a go at it in the 3rd week. The thing is, today Pog did a better preformance than he and Roglic did in 2020 it's just that Jonas was simply the better one today and is the best rider in this tour right now. Yes, Pog did have an injury and it could've have taken a toll on him because he hasn't had a proper mountain stage in a few months but Jonas really seems unbeatable as of right now. But we will really see tommorow if Pog just had a bad dsy or if he will lose time. I do hope, for the sake of this tour to not be boring that Pog will attack in some way or another and that he is not completley done, I feel like that if UAE really get a good strat going on like Jumbo did in 2022 Pog just might suceed (yes UAE don't have riders as good as Kuss and Roglic and Wout) but I feel like they burned themselves out today for no reason as they made the mistake of letting that big of a group go up the road. The best thing in my opinion to do right now is for them to kinda sit back whilek Bora and Jumbo try to control things and maybe then launch somethinf for Pog. But I deffo see Jonas as the bettee rider right now despite being Slovene. Also been watching cycling only for three years so if anyone has some better opinions/views on this I completley understand!

What a banger stage that was! As a german I am happy to see Emu back in shape. Awesome tactics by Bora an JV, UEA made a huge mistake by letting this group go.
And well, Jonas is a monster, insane performance once again
