Bella Ramsey discusses why more gender neutral roles are needed

Talking to Vogue, Bella Ramsey said “I’m not 100 percent straight. I’m a little bit wavy, you know?” And Bella also spoke on feeling anxiety around using their they/ them pronouns. They said “When ‘The Last of Us’ first came out, I was like, ‘Everyone just call me “she” because I look like a “she” to you.”
But Bella went on to explain that they’re now able to vocalise more, saying “being called ‘they’ is the most truthful thing for me. That’s who I am the most.”

But what does straight even mean if you're not male or female? If they're non-binary... Then... How are they straight or gay? Isn't the only option bi or pan in that case? I get confused.
