Wouldn't it be better to build another tunnel, Instead of a bridge? One thing we should keep in mind, both Scotland and Ireland might well leave the Union in the next decade, so why waste money on a bridge.

We already grow enough potatoes in the UK, no need for a bridge to bring them over FFS !
