Being Australian and watching all this Brexit stuff from the other side of the world, I am more confused about it than ever. The way I understood things is that once Article 50 was triggered, the EU and the UK Government had 2 years to hash out a trade deal.. From what I see, the most Teresa May has managed to negotiate is a withdrawal agreement that keeps the UK in the EU indefinately and the future trade deal will be negotiated during the withdrawal phase, with the EU telling the UK when they can leave the EU.. The idea of leaving the EU was for the UK to regain control of their laws, borders, currency and their own destiny and be free to negotiate and implement free trade deals with countries of the rest of the world.The UK for years traded with Commonwealth countries very successfully and I would like to see that again, but once they joined the European Common Market as it was known then, trade with Commonwealth countries is barely existant now.

what a laugh all these people who think she has done her best when she could have had a free trade deal easily, the problem is she did'nt ask for it..

It’s not just May who has failed to represent the referendum result, it’s most of parliament. The government are in contempt of parliament, and parliament is in contempt of the public and the referendum result.

You were pretty close in your prediction Nigel. 200 to 117 and you said 200 to 100 in favour. Do you know something we don't? ;) Also Nigel does LBC restrict you from mentioning the covert operation of military unification in the EU in collusion with Britain while the Pantomime of Parliament continues for the Public? How about FCO 30/1048? How about common purpose tearing public services apart from the inside out? Do you not think this info is relevant as this is all related to the European Soviet Union?

My prediction is the Tories and May will delay the March 2019 or revoke A50 altogether in order to allow George Soros People's Vote to move in and secure a second referendum. A sort of elaborate repeat of Irelands Libson Treaty when the Irish voted NO and the EU ignored them and informed the Government to have another referendum until the answer was YES. Anyone who still believes we live in a democracy rather than a dictatorship would consider this to be foreign interference in British Politics but do the mainstream even mention the People's Vote is a foreign NGO funded by George Soros Open Society? Now imagine if Putin were found to be behind the Leave Campaign. The media would go nuts with "It's the Russians!!". Not so with a Hungarian/American Jewish billionaire. Go figure.

We leave on March 29. One second later we are going to rejoin because Theresa Mays so called withdrawal bill is in actual fact a MEMBERSHIP BILL whereby we rejoin the EU a moment after weve left. It is not a deal, it is merely a bill whereby we rejoin the EU, and has been intended as such all along.

I too woke up the sun shining and thought it was going to be a great day.
I called in sick, googled the Vatican, got the compass bearing for Mecca and started praying to every God idol and superhero I could think of for May to get her P45.
I made promises to be good and never to drop my trousers and fart at Laura K when she appears on the news. Even made a vow to buy a TV licence if only I could get my wish come true.
Sadly my joy and efforts look like going unanswered. Perhaps next time I will try Wonder Woman, Skeletor, and GI Jane.
It's all been a bit of a let down to be honest. But Nigel you did cheer me up A little bit!
