"That depends" was the only proper response, the rest was just biased information.

react is for someone who only know react. if you know others, you don't choose it unless you want a job right now

Vue.js for commodity and personal projects.

React if you want a job, it literally has the advantage of being the most popular.

As a web developer who developed whole fully functional e-commerece and many other web application using vanilla JS, recommend to never use vanilla JS for large projects

Vue3 style is also declarative and function programming.

Basically every point in this video is wrong lol
> Something being harder to use doesn't make it "better" and make you and "expert dev", usually the opposite, you want to strive or simplicity.

> Vue is more declarative than React, a lot of the code you're forced to write in React components is imperative.

> If you're new to software development - ditch the frameworks and learn the fundamentals and JavaScript deeply, then it really won't matter if it's React, Vue or Angular.

> Functional programming doesn't make you a "JavaScript guru" - that is just an opinion. I like FP personally, but OOP is equally valid and it depends on the project.

No reason to use React. And it's totally imperative. Vue is declarative, makes things done easier and faster, with less efforts and with no manual dependency management, which is one of endless sources of bugs in React projects. Not to say that React is overcomplicated, and Vue does everything React does, but easier and faster

In real world, there are more factors than that to make decision of choosing framework. If you are learning just try all of them

Experts use Vue as well and it can do everything React does arguably faster, cleaner and simpler, the simpler API is one of many options you can go with, you could also make it fully Javascript if you're a sadist or even use JSX, so there's no real drawbacks to using Vue other than less job offers because React predates Vue a bit and many companies started their departures from Angular.js with React before Vue became popular.

Other than this, Vue is objectively superior in every way i can think of.

Nextjs + .Net backend with graphql or rest = forever best solution.

Svelte after svelte 5 is released is a decent solution too
