As someone who works at a thrift store, YES! Please buy these things!! We get so much of it all the time that we don’t have the shelf room for it!

Remember kids, at one point every single thing in our thrift stores and dumps were once someone "gotta have it" item.

I'm soo jealous of American thrift stores... It's crazy how much people buy and give away

I grew up on secondhand and nobody never knew because my Mama always kept us clean and fresh, all my books, movies and vhs tapes were secondhand and I loved it so much! I wasn’t ashamed either when ppl would ask where I got my clothes I’d proudly say “the thrift store” now it’s “trendy” to shop there when for a lot of ppl it’s a necessity

Okay, as someone who admittedly found their favorite rug thrifting, this one is a GAMBLE. Bed bugs be out there, y'all

I have a pet pigeon who lives inside in a cage (he was hit by a car and cannot fly anymore). He needed a 'nest' for him and his wife, and I knew exactly where to go! He has been rocking his $1 basket from the thrift store ever since.

One little thing about serving ware! A lot of beautiful pieces that are vintage are sometimes made with lead based paint! Double check it with a test before using it for food if youre getting something vintage!

YES! I love to see stuff like this because it makes me feel like I’m not the only one who really does not want to buy things new. The overconsumption in this country and everywhere really is just out of control

I love buying children’s books at thrift stores. Yesterday I picked up a few coloring books as well.

I've bought SO many insanely expensive things at thrift stores for nothing! My house decor looks expensive because it was for someone, but not me! 😂 I bought mushroom canisters a few years ago for $20. I saw them on eBay the other day for $450. 🤯

Books are my number one thrift purchase. I have found wonderful editions of Lord of the Rings at my favorite thrift.

All my trash cans and my little toiletry containers and baskets are second hand. One of my coolest, unique container is this huge yellow ashtray I found at an Estate Sale for $1. I use it place my wallet and sunglasses in when I come home. The sunglasses fit perfectly in the space for the cigarettes.

My absolute favorite serve wear is this lovely large pumpkin bowl for soups.

I want that frame!! My name is Bee and poppies are some of my favorite flowers!! But yesss!! Frames, baskets and books are in the tippy topy purchases on my thrifting adventures.❤❤❤

This channel RULES!!! My people are here!! Yesss!!

deadass, most kinds of home decor are better thrifted imo. take inspiration from curated stores if you like, but you'll find such unique pieces at a thrift store

The only problem is some thrift stores are making stuff wildly expensive they're trying to act like it's eBay, and that you should be paying a ton of money. But I do agree. And I agree about the repackaging trend. Actually I've never understood it besides aesthetically being pleasing it's just such futility to like take something out of a box to put it in another box every single time I just don't have time I'm not going to take all my cinnamon out of the already constructed container just to put it in another one cuz it's cuter 😂 or cereal 🥣.

I grow and sell cut flowers and I thrifting vases for them. It’s a fun way for me to make/sell my bouquets and people usually love the cool vases that I find!

I randomly found my new favorite author (nebula prize winner too!) For 50 cents at a thrift store and now I have almost all the books in the series and I talk about this author allll the time - Ken Liu, read his work

I love your content!

I found a store in my hometown that sells manufacturer rejects, out of style/season products, and returned items. I got a rug there for $40 when it retailed for $150. And it was brand new. Sure beats throwing unused products in a landfill 🙃

Love your channel😊 I have been a heavy thrifter for a few years and I get mad at my sisters when they don’t understand how great it is or think it’s “gross”.

The quality and uniqueness you can find at second hand stores is unmatched, they don’t make stuff like they use too!

Thank you for normalizing saving money, recycling and spreading the word to stop giving our hard earned money to these corrupt companies and ultimately ending hyperconsumerism.

You go girl 🎉

I'm not used to thrifting but I bought a couple of champagne glasses from the local antiques store. They were considerably cheaper than new ones, even than the plastic ones. I regret not having bought so many things from thrift stores

I agree with everything except the rugs, like my god is it disgusting what ends up on and in rugs. I’d rather drop extra money to get one that I know for a fact is clean. Some things will just never be clean, no matter what you do to it.
