Workout equipment. I have bought completely unused dumbbells, wrist weights etc. for cheap, because people buy these (especially at the start of the year) and then sell them after they've only been gathering dust for a few years.

As an artist, I thrift ALL of the frames for my art. I always find crazy interesting frames to level up my pieces and save SO much money.

This is such a relief to watch. I think the last few years all these Instagram influences who have been doing paid, promotions, and useless plastic gadgets has had its time now.

I love your videos. I really wish we could normalize gifting 2nd hand stuff. Just makes more sense for so many reasons.

For some reason thrift stores have crazy prices on stuff these days. 😢

I just bought an 8 quart Instant Pot for $25 at a thrift store. Literally can't have been used more than a couple of times, the inner pot still has a mirror-like surface, trivet and instruction manual included. I felt like I struck gold!

I have had many wonderful thrifting experiences, but one that sticks in my mind: when my daughter was young and we were DIRT POOR, she had her first homecoming dance. We had no money, but went to the thrift store and before we went in, we asked the Lord for His help. We left with a full length gown in perfect condition that fit her like it was made for her for, wait for it, $15!! He really hooked us up! Thank you, Lord!!

You should do a video on watching for overpriced stuff at the thrift store. I’ve seen dollar tree items priced at $2.
And mason jars are usually cheeper to buy in a case.

I buy instant coffee that come in glass jars. Once they're empty, I just wash them really well, remove the labels and use them as containers for sugar, salt, etc. Since I always buy the same coffee and in the same-sized containers, I have uniform containers for my other food items.

I find thrifting clothes requires more patience than I possess most of the time, but thrifting housewares? It's great. When I moved out of my parents house, I got a lot of kitchen tools/utensils from thrift stores (or as hand me downs from family and friends)

you definitely wanna check those glasses with printed graphics for lead!!! I found out that so many of my favorite mugs/glasses had lead paint on them with a swab test 😭

👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I've been waiting for someone to promote anti-consumerism and haul culture. So over being bombarded with people spending hoards of money on things they don't actually need. You go girl

Thrifting definitely gives your home instant "grandma's house" swag and comfort. Nobody ever knew where anything came from there. 😂

I found the prettiest frame for my kid's spring photos. It looks like these stone columns covered in moss and ivy. And, in the photo, my kid has this garden background. She looks like Mary Lennox in the Secret Garden!! 💐🌿🖼

I found another frame with Irises on it and it actually said Iris. That is my kid's name. Absolutely perfect!! 💜🖼

I got a thick heavy-duty glass veggie tray (with the dividers made into it) for $1 at a yard sale. And I got a wire basket to store potatoes in the pantry for $1 there too. My daughter got a unicorn Christmas stocking for $1 that would have been well over $10 brand new.

Furniture! Maybe that’s in part 2?
Used quality lamps, tables drawers, chairs etc, people seem to just dump anything that’s unfashionable even when it’s perfectly fine.

Here in New Orleans our local Goodwill overprices their items so ridiculously that many times it's higher than the original tag on an item... and it's used too! Unbelievable.

Awesome content! It’s great that you’re encouraging people to buy fewer things and/or reuse items.
