Thank you so much. I wanted to organize my library. Having multiple tiles for one game was making me crazy. 😅

Thanks for this. Any idea why m3u games go to the bottom of the game list in Duckstation, instead of mixed together with the rest alphabetically?
Edit: Nevermind, I'm dumb and didn't notice I had "Type" clicked for game order instead of "Name". Couldn't see that while in grid view.

Thanks, very easy to understand guide.

Thanks, transfering saves between per-title memory cards is an annoyance. The fact that Duckstation doesn't count multi-disc games as a single title seems like a huge oversight

Do you know why I keep getting this error message when trying to open a .m3u file in duckstation?

"Failed to boot system: Failed to open CD image 'Final Fantasy 7.m3u': Failed to read M3u file"

I've gotten this whether the m3u file is in a batch folder with all the other disc bin and cue files or if it's in its own m3u folder. I don't know how to resolve the error.

Does the computer have to acknowledge it as an m3u type? Like I change the ext but if I look on properties or whatever it still says txt file. Also is this the same process for multi track games? Just treat a track as if it was a disc? Thanks.

Is this method usable with Retrobat? I'm currently adding some multi discs games to the PSX library but I'm not sure if this will work

Everything worked [except for the organizing part. i'm on linux so maybe it's different. idk, not a big deal].
Another thing that was strange was that the games that have .m3u show up twice [i have Duckstation loading all my games from a folder so I have a nice list in the emulator].
So I have an .m3u version of the game in the game list and a Disc 1 version in the list. [I'm not sure if I'm making sense here]
Do you know what could be causing this? Is there a way I can hide the Disc 1 version since the .m3u version works?
