You should be able to open a .m3u file on whatever your mp3 player is then just choose the option on your player to randomise the order of their play, such as random play or shuffle.

I can just use "properties" and thn "details" on VLC and edit things there if need be?

Hello Steakor,
what's the difference between .m3u and .m3u8 files? I am using SimpleTV player and try to create m3u8 files in Notepad (Using UTF-8 encoding) but they are saved as VLC therefore not recognized by SimpleTV player. Why? Thank you

There is an app called One Click m3u8. With just one click it can convert any video files to an .m3u8 playlist. Check out nacentApps fullstop com. Available on the macappstore.
