RARE 350cc 2 STROKE KAWASAKI GO KART BARN FIND - FIRST RIDE!!

preview_player
Показать описание
This go kart is powered by a 1969 Kawasaki 350cc with a 5 speed. The engine came off of a Kawasaki A7 Avenger. It is a true barn find. This is the first ride in 30 years. I was able to fix the clutch and carb issues. It definitely is fast, and it is such a fun kart. It should definitely be a drift go kart. Hope you enjoy!!

The Mr. Clean eraser pads work great. Been using them on every part of my bikes.

With new tires this thing looks like it would be so much fun. Awesome find.

Take the clutch cover off. Unscrew the screws holding the clutch basket together. Take the plates out and clean them. Soak them overnight in transmission fluid. Put the plates back on and should be good.

Those Kawasaki twins were the freaking bomb back in the day. Not surprised at all that you smoked the tires off the rims. The 500 twins and 750 triples were even more insane.
Then Kawasaki partnered with Arctic Cat for snowmobiles... engines engines engines engines

10:03 You can see the rim spinning inside the tire, just from putting the cart in first gear, with the clutch engaged.

So your telling me you actually fixed the carbs the next day after getting it running for the first video.!? Thats weird so you first have some content for your video then fix it on your second. Showing the process makes sense to me!! Dont sweat all the know it all geniuses who must send all the negative comments! I am sure all their videos are fantastic! 👌

I can't wait to see what you do with this go-kart once it's fully done. Keep up the great work.

Haven’t heard that exhaust tone since… 1990ish. Music! The clutch disks seize to pressure plates after sitting a long time. Common. Personally don’t know how to fix. Probably a disassembly.

I drag raced one of those Kawasaki 350 twins back in the early 80s. Ran high 12s totally stock.

Wow. When I saw the title, I figured it would be an S2, never an A7. I was a Kawasaki parts mgr. in the 1980s, and the A7 was pretty much a dinosaur even then; never saw one on the road or in the shop.
