Five For Fighting is the name the singer because his mother always told him to take five for fighting a lot. Mean five minutes timeout for fighting. Love all his songs. Superman, Chances Are etc.

Guys! Can't believe you're doing this one. Try finding it anywhere with any other reactors...you'll be looking a long time. Funny name, "Five for Fighting" is just a title for one man, the songwriter, John Ondrasik, who writes music like I used to hear from the 70's, 80's and 90's. Actual melody that isn't just a drone veneer over top an incessant beat (stuff you hear at the gym), and it actually has a bridge. Really beautiful song, an unexpected treat. :)

Hey guys. Great reaction. Thank you for doing this one. It's definitely a beautiful song on the reflection of life. I especially love how they showed the piano player aging as the story went on. A subtle touch but very poignant. As a 58yo man, I can relate to this.

This has been a good song for a long time! Reminds me of Mike and the mechanics “the living years“. If you haven’t heard that one you need to check it out. I love songs that tell a story throughout! Great job as always!
