I still can't get over that she has a fantastic car in high school, and she is still seen as an "unfortunate" character who has no funds. Um, she has a car and can pay for gas, and can drive around at her own volition. Definitely one of the luckiest Cinderellas out there. 😂

Loved this movie as a teen (still kind of a guilty pleasure, haha) but I just realized that Chad's character is actually not a good guy. He has a girlfriend, but is chatting and flirting with another girl without any concern. His reaction when he found out that Sam is Cinderella was horrible, earlier in the movie his friends are bullying her for being "dinner girl" and he doesn't care. Hillary, you deserve better.

Also why are they bullying her for working at the dinner, but him working at the car wash is totally fine?

I always rolled my eyes at scenes like the costume ball where nobody recognizes her bc half her face is covered....but then covid happened. I've only started seeing most of my classmates without their masks on recently and I don't recognize some of them without the bottom half covered. I'd definitely be fooled by Hilary Duff's mask 😂

Hey. Screenwriter/Director from Canada here. I just want to say that I stumbled upon your bad movies reviews and they are amazing. I have never watched your beauty/makeup content (although I do love makeup tutorials) and I just want to congratulate you for putting yourself out there. What you are doing is genius. It takes a lot of talent to edit stuff and write in such a funny way. You being able to produce such cool and hilarious content without having been to film or comedy school (or having access to an actual postproduction studio) is just downright impressive. I will be teaching a class in a Montreal film Institute next winter and I just want to let you know that your videos were an inspiration as to how to produce fun videos that deliver content (part of the class will be filmed ahead and given virtually). I was kinda hoping you’d mention the fact that everyone in the movie picked on Sam for working at a diner, but none of them said anything about Austin working at a car wash. That bit always bothered me. During the “diner girl” chant scene, they should’ve thrown in some “car wash boy” chants for good measure. 😂
