This movie shows how really important a will is. Having one to make sure that your loved ones are cared for and the wrong people don't get anything. Especially keeping it out of someone you don't trust's reach and that a attorney has it rather than putting it in a book that's been hiding for 10 years. 10 years of abuse that Sam had to endure, under someone that her father was stupid to marry.

I can imagine since Sam found out that her father’s house belongs to her, she was able to legally evict Fiona, Brianna, and Gabriella. The 3 of them would be forced to move into a small studio apartment where they fight over the small space. Also, since Sam sold her step family’s cars, Fiona, Brianna, and Gabriella would be forced to take the bus to work at Hal’s Diner. They would complain about the bus being filthy and other passengers evading their space

What would have made a even better ending, Shelby’s parents get a call about the pep rally incident, they get furious and ground her the whole summer, cut off her college fund, and she’s forced to get a job to pay for money to college, and the place she gets sent to work at is Hal’s and has to experience life as a “Diner girl”

Sam is not just a Cinderella, she’s also a hero girl.
Fiona had luck not to spend the rest of her life in a women’s correctional facility, but she was punished for exploiting Sam, so community service was the best punishment she deserved.
Brianna and Gabriella had luck not to spend time in a juvenile correctional facility, but they should have been expelled from school for bullying Sam and Carter.
Shelby must be expelled from school for bullying Sam, but she’ll realize she should have never bully anyone else. She was lucky not to get homeschooled by her parents as punishment for bullying orphaned teens.
