Dear Evan Hansen,

Thank you so much for being a musical that is not only incredible, but also an emotional, progressive, and beautiful portrayal of young people's struggles today. This musical has been the light for people constantly living in the dark. It has covered topics that have very rarely been touched before by other shows/forms of media. And, it continues to move me to tears today.
I am still distraught at the very thought of this show closing already, but I am sure that this show will live on through its beautiful music, complex yet realistic characters, and compelling story.
We will continue to remember the story of Evan Hansen. May this musical have a phenomenal closing night.

Almost four years ago, my cousin took me to the touring production in Costa Mesa as an early Xmas present. We’ve been blessed to see a beautiful if slightly misguided show come to life. Watching this made me sad, I have always felt that part of me was missing. This show helped me in endless ways so much that I won’t ever be able to thank these people enough.
